Welcome to the Millers Web site!

We have finally upgraded our website to a much simpler and easier to maintain, or at least that's what we are hoping..

Photo Album

Home Network

MountainsLook at our new online photo album filled with pictures of our family and friends.
We have an extensive feature rich home network, that includes VoIP, Media recording and streaming. The network is highly available and uses up alot of my time maintaining.

Weather

  Speedtest

Click for Wellington, New Zealand Forecast This speedtest application will allow you to test the speed between my webserver in Wellington, NZ to your location. You should realise that My upload speed is restricted to 2Mbps and my download is 10Mbps. This means depending on your connection speed it is quite possible that you will see a faster upload than download speed!

HNDv3

Holly's Network Diagnostics.
This is a small tool I knocked up to help my daughter test her internet connectivity, simple to operate as it only has a single button to press. After testing it provides a message that informs her of the status of the Internet and if there is a problem it provides her with "what to tell Dad". The tools latest version also checks that the local PC has been configured correctly it should work on all home networks if you try it and it doesn't work for you drop me a line on the contact page and you never know I may enhance it.
Needs .net framework installed to run as its written using vb.net.
Tested on Windows XP may work on Vista and Windows 7 but not tested.

eCalc

E Model Calculator
This is a simple GUI implementation of the G.107 E Model source code. This is used by VoIP designers as a planning tool. The tool needs .NET framewaork I will try and find the source (vb.net) so that others may verify that the code is as per the original G.107 source, as I recall I even left in the original line numbers (the source was old school BASIC) A couple of lines needed to be altered to fit modern syntab but nothing major.
